Story of :
Lisa was immersed since her young age in lyricism and classical music’s acoustic.
In 2000, the need to express herself by music became vital. She decided then, to opt for vinyl turntables as an instrument and as a means of expression. Naturally, she was driven to the “Deep House” way with already a perfect mastery of complex melodies and chromatic chords.
In the following year, her first steps on the electronic scene in Geneva were positively noticed.
It‘s in Nantes, between 2002 and 2003, that she really found her musical path.
Inspired by her encounters, she turned towards techno and DnB world.
She managed to shape and create her own universe. At this very moment, without any doubt, she became a true electro activist.
During this period, she collaborated with the artistic collective KROMOZOM which still continue to support her different projects.
Since then, she‘s been travelling around the French country with her sets composed of heavy bass and efficient rhythms.
In 2007, she had the opportunity to mix with the iconic DJ and American producer Woody MC BRIDE. This meeting allowed her to open her own musical personality into deep progressive and haunting music. It’s also, at this moment that she enforced the visual aspect of her shows by collaborating with HD Visual under the alias Magnetic Box.
From 2008 to 2013, proving her maturity, Lisa delivered remarkable performances in festivals such as FACE In Angers and ASTROPOLIS in Brest in 2009 and also in the heart of “Mandala Records” and “Urban Jungle”parties of which she’s the godmother in Angers since 2010 in a partnership with Loadstar, Adam F, Black Sun Empire, Shimon, and Science.
The summum of these electronic parties is the Magnetic Box’s project which teased the Chabada’s public in Angers and the “Alternativ’ Electrik 2’s party at StereoLux in Nantes.
In 2014, Lisa settled down in Prague. Her encounter with Kan Jacca from the Bassistaz is a true artistic crush and a perfect musical osmosis. The 2 artists forged a powerful movement with drum and bass and Techno. There’s such a magic between those two hat Lisa, back to France, invited him to collaborate with her for 3 parties.
Mixing all the styles which inspired her, (Techno, Break, Transe prog, Acid Techno, Dubstep, Drum’n’Bass), Lisa managed to bring a coherence, a harmony between the warmth of the vinyl’s’ sound and the austerity of the digital sources. This project combined with her dense musical selection, gave birth to “L’Hydre”, project on which the artist has been working on since the very beginning.
The project improves smoothly with time, thanks to a well calculated risk-taking and demonstrates the full repertoire of her talent, revealing her explosive musical richness. Since then, Lisa Moon never hesitates to shake up her public with her musical choices and their various audacious intensities. Sometimes Ying or Yang, sometime enchanting or destabilizing. The harmony is as present as the dissonance, the vibrations of her sets are used to improve an intuition which attract and challenge our mind.
An unforgettable musical journey, we are unaware of the destination but we are carried there in ecstasy.

Lisa baigne depuis son plus jeune âge, dans le lyrisme et l’acoustique de la musique classique. En 2000, le besoin de s’exprimer par le son devient pour elle vital. Elle décide alors, d’opter pour les platines en guise d’instruments et moyen d’expression. C’est naturellement qu’elle emprunte le chemin de la « Deep house », avec déjà une grande maîtrise des mélodies complexes et des accords chromatiques. Ses premiers pas sur les scènes électro de Genève l’année suivante sont déjà très remarqués.
C’est en 2002 et 2003 à Nantes, qu’elle trouve sa ligne de conduite musicale. En s’inspirant alors, de ses rencontres, Lisa s’oriente à cet instant, vers l’univers techno et DnB. Elle le façonne et se l’approprie et devient sans nul doute, à ce moment- là, une véritable activiste électro. C’est également à cette période qu’elle collabore avec l’association KROMOZOM (association artistique) qui la soutient sur ces différents projets encore aujourd’hui.
Dès lors elle parcoure le territoire français avec des sets aux basses lourdes et aux rythmes efficaces.
En 2007, elle mixe au côté du grand DJ et producteur américain de musique électronique, Woody MC BRIDE. Cette rencontre, lui permettra de se raconter davantage et d’élaborer des sets aux sonorités lancinantes et progressives. C’est également à cette période, qu’elle renforce l’aspect visuel de ses prestations, en collaborant avec HD Visual sous le pseudo de Magnetic Box.
De 2008 à 2013, la maturité est bel et bien présente. Elle se traduit par des prestations mémorables au sein des festivals FACE à Angers et ASTROPOLIS à Brest en 2009, mais aussi au cœur des soirées « Mandala Records » et « Urban Jungle » dont elle est la marraine, sur Angers depuis 2010, aux côtés de Loadstar, Adam F, Black Sun Empire, Shimon, Kafra et Science. Le point d’orgue de ces soirées électro passera par le projet Magnetic Box, qui ira taquiner, par une « Tricks Party » le public du Chabada d’Angers et par l’« Alternativ’ Electrik 2 » le public du StéréoLux de Nantes.
En 2014, Lisa pose ses valises à Prague et sa rencontre avec Kan Jacca des Bassistaz, est un véritable coup de foudre artistique et une osmose musicale parfaite. Se créer alors un courant DNB, techno de toute beauté entre les deux artistes. La magie est telle, que Lisa à son retour en France, l’invite, pour collaborer avec elle sur trois soirées.
Mêlant à la fois tous les styles qui l’inspire, (Techno, Break, Trance prog, Acid techno, Dubstep, Drum’n’Bass) Lisa arrive néanmoins à une cohérence, à une harmonie entre la chaleur des sons du vinyle et l’austérité des sources digitales.
De ce projet à la sélection musicale dense naîtra « L’Hydre », projet sur lequel l’artiste travaille depuis ses débuts. La construction de celui-ci s’est élaborée finement au fil du temps grâce à une belle prise de risque et une richesse musicale explosive !
Depuis, Lisa Moon ne cesse de bousculer son public par ses choix sonores et ses intensités variées et audacieuses. Tantôt Ying, tantôt Yang, tantôt envoutante, tantôt déstabilisante. L’harmonie est aussi présente que la dissonance, les vibrations de ses sets, sont au service d’une intuition qui attire, qui interpelle.
C’est pourtant bien la vibration d’une seule face que l’on entend... Un voyage sonore inoubliable où on ne connaît pas sa destination, mais où on se laisse porter avec délectation. Credit : Ben Douch
